Images for 'New Artists' section on Contents Page
The Idea for the new bands/artists section was that i will have a group of females and while taking these images I came up wit the idea that my USP (unique selling point) is that I will have an all female edition magazine. I will add this later to the front cover maybe 'Female Rockers Edition' as a sub heading under the masthead.
This shot has a bit of bad framing on the side with the light still sticking out in the right hand corner. But I like the content, she (the model) is wearing black and looks rather aggressive with the guitar like she is going to smash it up. Smashing a guitar up on stage was seen by Pete Townshend from The Who. I don't think though that I am going to use this image.
Again the framing is rather bad and this shot is not as effective as the image above. The content does not look as aggressive as well. I will not be using this image.
Although the framing is a bit out on the right hand side that can be easily edited out and painted over. Again I like the aggression that the model is showing, I would use this image if I was creating a whole magazine.
Edited pictures:
I have edited the pictures and added a black stage background to make it look like they are on stage.
I cut around the pictures using the magic wand tool. I then added the background and re scaled it so it fitted the whole picture.
The models had a green tint around them so I then erased that using the eraser tool.
I am now trying it with a different image:

unfortunately this image didn't go as well as the other image. So I will try the Image with both models for my contents page
