1st Draft of my front cover.
This is my first hand drawn draft of the front cover. It features conventions such as a masthead, a main image, date and issue number, a barcode and sell-lines.
The main image is going to be of a female model who is wearing black and white clothing with a red lipstick. Looking into the genre of rock it self I found that black clothing (mainly leather) with bright red lipstick is very common. Black is associated with power and mystery. I want the reader to feel when looking at this, that rock is powerful and if they read this and follow rock; they themselves will feel powerful.
